NBA Role: athletic wing UnderDOG

Wes Johnson just might be a top-5 athlete at his position…and on top of that, he has one of the nicest looking jumpers you’ll see – that said, it’s a total shame Wes has not broken away from UnderDOG status; possessed with hops that’d make Terrance Stansbury blush, Johnson uses his leaping ability to rise up for corner 3s, rather than go hard at the rim; has made a point to improve as a perimeter defender – could renovate himself in the Trevor Ariza-mode (perimeter stopper, knockdown shooter) in the future – does Doc have the patience to stick with Wes?; perfect situation to swack open 3s and D up – LA’s bench has been putrid in previous postseasons (and they continue to lack an 82-game-3&D-starting-3 man) – can Wes provide a spark?

Signature Shot: corner 3 off the hop
