PHXForward: 6’8, 230 lbs; 4th year, NC State

NBA Role: slashing, in-between forward • Star UnderDOG

TJ Buckets: a ‘throwback’ forward w/ a smooth game below the 3-point line; a pure scorer, Warren doubles as an acrobat – excellent body control racing to the rim through rush hour traffic, can twist in for easy floaters and soft lay-ups; times his cuts very well off penetration – once Phoenix gets an elbow playmaker at the four or five, Warren could easily see a few more “gimme” buckets just by flashing down the lane; not a great long-distance shooter yet – mastering corner triples is the focus before branching out to other areas beyond the arc; not a set-up man, could benefit from adding an ‘extra pass’ badge; injury-prone; improving defender; a dangerous threat, TJ has Suns fans (& coach Earl Watson) buzzing – is he PHX’s true third option behind Booker & Bledsoe?
