ATL Forward: 6’8, 220 lbs; 2nd year, Baylor

NBA Role: raw, two-way forward

A mid-round draft pick in 2016, Baylor’s Taurean Prince assimilated quickly as a rookie last year – earned key starts during ATL’s postseason run; Prince has “everyday SF” written all over him – knocks down the long ball, creates shots if plays break down, brings a junkyard attitude on the defensive end; got better every year in college – made strides as a two-way forward his final season at Baylor; improving creator, needs to work on making reads after penetrating; solid rebounder (strong frame, ideal size for a 3 man) – it’s no surprise, seeing how he’s memorized the definition to a tee; can Prince thrive as a small ball four in at some point?; makes an impact in Coach Bud’s rotation – Prince’s progression is important as ATL looks for more stability in 2017-18
