Marreese Speights (LAC) – “Mo Buckets”

Profile:
Power Forward: 6’10, 255 lbs; 10th year, Florida
NBA Role: scoring power forward • Salty DOG
Everyone’s favorite heat-check: Marreese Speights aka Mo Buckets; an NBA Champion w/ the Dubs in 2015, Mo Buckets is the rare (big) forward who plays, well, like a guard; pretty solid threat from outside – Speights scores moderately well with his J but is able to finish a bit (through contact) at the basket (not terribly efficient but is tricky with up and unders/reverses); buttt there’s one key weakness to Mo’s game – doesn’t pass the rock too often (well, ever) and if your name was ‘Mo Buckets’, I wouldn’t expect you to either; normally a porous defender if tasked to protect the rim – Mo’s defensive worth comes from taking charges & the occasional touch up; keeping up w/ the Joneses: Speights has adapted & expanded his shot out to three-point land, able to hit via pick & pops, spot-ups; adds frontcourt depth in LA – solid for 15-20 min./night
Signature Shot: lil hop, midrange J
(*factory setting*) NBA 2K17 Rating: 75
