Eric Bledsoe

Eric Bledsoe (PHX)  “E-Bled” | “Mini-Bron” nike

(Joe Camporeale/USA TODAY Sports)

PHXPoint Guard: 6’1, 190 lbs; 8th year, Kentucky

NBA Role: all-around PG • Top DOG

Eric Bledsoe aka the LeBron James of point guards’; chiseled physique combined w/ a stunning blend of strength, speed and athleticism in transition – undersized but Bledsoe is an unforgiving attacker on both sides; in a league featuring elite PGs w/ varying play styles, Bledsoe is no exception – aesthetically, no other lead guard goes about business quite like he does (most powerful?; can race past anyone at any given time, patient in the lane, picks his spots); should be 1st-Team All-Defense, just doesn’t consistently lock down his matchup despite normally leading the pack w/ steals; ideal guard to push the Suns’ break (speedy, good rebounder who can rip the rock down & run) – but on the flip side, Bled hasn’t yet led PHX to a playoff berth, is injury prone; borderline All-Star: – will improvements as a shooter and decision-maker eventually lead to more victories?
