PHXForward: 7’1, 220 lbs; Rookie, Croatia

NBA Role: new wave forward • Future Top DOG

THE top international prospect in the Class of 2016, Dragan Bender is looking to make a Kristaps Porzingis-like splash in the Association; similar to Porzingis, Bender represents the new wave of versatile forwards entering the league – ELITE size, ability to stretch the floor & grab rebounds at 7’0 (and beyond!); Bender is a highly touted prospect – selected 4th overall last June – for his offensive potential: he’s able to step out and cash treys, while showing flashes of putting the ball on the floor and lifting floaters; nice transition scorer, changes ends pretty easily for a 7-footer; needs to gain at least 15 pounds of muscle – slender frame, impossible to defend the post if he’s at the 5; high upside as a shot-blocker, fluid movements

Signature Shot: ‘pick & pop’ 3
