ATL Guard/Forward: 6’6, 210 lbs; 2nd year, St. Joseph’s

NBA Role: versatile wing scorer

Atlanta is excited about young DeAndre’ Bembry  and you should be too; a 6’6 ball-handler w/ the ability to play 3 positions (PG, SG & SF), Bembry’s on track to break thru in Mike Budenholzer’s crowded wing rotation; nice athlete w/ burst in the open floor – Bembry is a creative finisher (takes his time but can score over the top) able to make the extra pass; drive & kick game is already impressive, needs to use size to more of an advantage inside the arc; inconsistent long-range shooter but is closer to good than bad – Bembry has a nice base, so his percentages could rise if he learns how to spot up; high upside as a perimeter defender – is this how Dre’ earns spot minutes in ’17-’18?
