Brandan Wright

Brandan Wright (MEM) – “The Wright Stuff” nike

(Mark J. Rebilas/USA TODAY Sports)

gries Forward/Center: 6’10, 210 lbs; 10th year, UNC

NBA Role: active, second-unit big Salty DOG

A former UNC Tar Heel, Brandan Wright is a second-jumping, lob-catching big who tries to dunk everything – just serve it up! Wright’ll come down with it, don’t you worry; B. Wright shoots about 90% from the field (fact-check if you feel the need) because all of his buckets come from up close; not a very inventive offensive player but Brandan’s definitely found his own formula – lefty hooks, hammering flushes after a hard screen, sneaky put back jams; fights hard on D – capable help-side shot blocker, though won’t shut down a one-on-one matchup; very injury-prone, played just 12 games in 2015-16; will Coach David Fizdale use Wright in his comfortable, ‘third’ big role in 2018?

Signature Slam: OOP

(*factory setting*) NBA 2K17 Rating: 76

Couple DOG Facts:

Career: 7.1 points/game, 3.7 rebounds/game, 61% FG
