Quick Recap:

In a game NO ONE wanted to go to overtime, Dwyane Wade & the HEAT snatched away the game from Toronto in the extra period. Wade’s “resurrection” continued last night as he poured in 30 points and cashed a couple fadeaway Js to seal the deal for Miami.

Kyle Lowry (10 points, 2/11 in 37 minutes, fouled out; Grade: F) & DeMar DeRozan (9 points, 4/17 in 33 minutes, benched for almost the entire 4th quarter; Grade: F-) were both terrible…once again.

Toronto just couldn’t close the deal down the stretch – poor execution doomed them once again, as an iso J by Cory Joseph was the potential game-winner in regulation. Bismack Biyombo (13 points, 13 boards, 2 blocks) filled in for Jonas Valanciunas admirably but the same ol’ story applies…when Lowry & DeRozan are ineffective, the result is an L.

D. Wade reallllly wants to face old pal LeBron James in the Eastern Conference Finals next round. A string of virtuoso performances continued last night, as he helped Miami overcome a 9-point hole to stun Toronto.

Series tied, 2-2.

Stats Leaders:

PTS: Stephen Curry – 40 | REBS: Mason Plumlee – 15 | ASTS: Damian Lillard – 10

Top DOG of the Night: Stephen Curry (40 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists)

Quick Recap:

Yep, that’s mostly all you need to know about Game 4! Well, mostly…

Despite a barrage of three-pointers and clutch baskets by Portland, Stephen Curry’s triumphant return (off the bench) was capped by scoring 17 POINTS in OT & a 3-1 series lead.

Shaun Livington was ejected in the second quarter. Steph Curry started to hit shots at the end of the 3rd. The result? 27 points in the final 17 minutes of game time – a remarkable shooting display for the ages. Draymond Green was also spectacular & Harrison Barnes hit a HUGE 3 to tie the game at 111; no matter what you do, GS seems to make big play after big play in crunch time.

Though it was a back and forth affair in the second half, you gotta think Portland let another one slip away. A couple of better decisions here and there and we’re looking at a 3-1 lead in POR’s favor. A young team without much to lose at this point, Dame & co. won’t go down without a fight in Game 5.

GSW leads series, 3-1.
