“Emmanuel Mudiay’s Magnificent Shot Sleeps Sixers”

NBA: Denver Nuggets at Philadelphia 76ers

Today, there was a basketball game between the 29-42 Denver Nuggets and 9-62 Philadelphia 76ers. Did you know about it? Probably not.

Was it important? Definitely not.

The ending, however, is a completely different story. Emmanuel Mudiay, Denver’s prized rook, really wanted to cap off his big night in style.

No timeouts. Down 2. Just under 4 seconds left.

Darrell Arthur slung the rock from the opposite baseline to Mudiay, who stumbled and fumbled before launching an off-balance triple from the parking lot.

Not too bad! It really was one of the craziest buzzer-beaters in the league this season. Botched catch, pick-up, off-balance, barely got it off in time. Ahh, just the kind of shot Tankadel- er, Denver needed.

Mudiay finished the night with 27 points & 11 rebounds.
